I purchased papyrus to experiment I purchased papyrus to experiment with the application of photographic emulsion. The papyrus appears excellent for this purpose but, I would add an undercoat or subbing layer of emulsion for anyone trying this experiment.

While there are other online sellers sell papyrus papers but they are too expensive for the little amount you get and quality is not that good. I got here the right paper from the people who make it at great price.

The finished papyri were great
The finished papyri were great. The finished papyri were great. I had also ordered the slips to soak and make our own (Latin classes). Considering that we are not professionals, my students really enjoyed the activity. It would be nice to receive a few more tips on how to create the papyrus, but we still had a great time with it.
