  Antique dark brown papyrus papers is manufactured by hand differently from light-colored Egyptian papyrus paper. To get antique papyrus.

  It starts with the same papyrus plant and cut papyrus plant to long strips. After soaking papyrus strips in clean water strips then are boiled for almost a whole night to have antique look and aging texture.

  After that put first layer of papyrus strips horizontally side by side then another vertical layer then hammer the 2 layer together. At this point strips fibers overlap and stick together by natural cellulose.

  After the papyrus strip stick together then it came to drying phase then we get dark papyrus paper with antique texture.
